Headquartered in Chicago, Illinois, the United States Hockey League (USHL) celebrated its 14th season as the USA’s only Tier I junior hockey league in 2015-16. With over 400 players committed to NCAA Division I schools and over 240 alumni signed to NHL contracts, the USHL and its 17 member teams, are the nation’s foremost producer of junior hockey talent.
Mission of the USHL
• Provide talented young players and officials an opportunity to participate in competitive hockey.
• Provide extensive training time, quality coaching and involve players and officials in national and international competition.
• Provide players exposure to college and professional coaches.
• Further players educational goals while developing their hockey skills.
• Maintain a strictly amateur status with USA Hockey, AHA, CCHA, ECAC, HE, WCHA and other organizations.
