The Houston Golf Association has been promoting PGA TOUR golf since 1946. This group of men and women volunteers is dedicated to the mission of promoting golf for the benefit of local youth-oriented charities. Prior to 1974 the HGA offered college scholarships to deserving youngsters. Since that time it has focused on other local worthy causes and has generated more than $60 million through its fundraising activities. The Houston Golf Association presently has an opportunity for a Director of Sales for the Shell Houston Open in Houston, Texas. This position will directly contribute to the sales efforts of the tournament by generating sales and managing the entire sales effort including managing a sales team. Ideal candidates will be individuals with a sales focused career path who are relentless in their pursuit of revenue generation. Ideally, the candidate will possess a proven track record of sales generation and management. In addition to new business, Director of Sales must be able to renew and upsell existing clients to minimize attrition and enable strong year-over-year growth.
As the National Governing Body for the Olympic sport of Taekwondo, the purpose of USA Taekwondo (USAT) shall be to inspire United States athletes to achieve sustained competitive excellence in the sport of Taekwondo in the United States and to serve as the National Governing Body for the sport of Taekwondo under the authority of the United States Olympic Committee as set out below. Furthermore, USAT is committed to providing the necessary programs, services and support for all Taekwondo participants by providing a safe and positive environment as well as demonstrating the high athletic skill, self-discipline, humility, indomitable spirit and expression of Olympic ideals required to excel in the sport.
USAT is actively seeking an Executive Director to lead the membership, staff, and volunteers of USA Taekwondo, through implementation of programs designed to achieve the organizations’ goals. The USA Taekwondo Board of Directors delegates to the Executive Director the authority to develop and implement all operations and customer service related activities associated with the organization.
The Executive Director is ultimately responsible for all aspects of USA Taekwondo. These are comprised of two main areas:
- Programs and technical services including: Olympic Sparring, Sport Poomsa and potentially, Paralympic Taekwondo (TBD). Each responsibility area includes the development of grass-roots programs; the identification of high performing athletes, coaches, and referees; and, the creation of an environment where nationally competitive athletes, coaches, and referees are successful in international competition.
- Member support services for USA Taekwondo and recognized Affiliated Organizations. Supervising a small professional staff and volunteer-membership, the Executive Director oversees administrative, finance, communication and performance evaluation functions

The Senior Director, Operations will be a skilled communicator, a flawless event organizer, and possess superior organizational skills. The ideal candidate will provide operational support to the staff of Churchill Downs Racetrack. The Sr. Director, Operations will assist the Vice President, Operations in directing and coordinating the operational activities for all scheduled events held at the facility, including the annual runnings of the Kentucky Oaks and Kentucky Derby. This will include the direct planning, site development, vendor selection, and supervision of all aspects of the event operation. The Sr. Dir. Operations will be a servant leader who strives to assist all departments at Churchill Downs in meeting their goals through superior event execution.
